This weekend we said goodbye to our long term foster, Rufus. Rufus had many quirks which made it hard to place him in a forever home. These same quirks left everyone who met him with a Rufus story. Our deepest condolences to his foster, Justin Bowers. We are extremely grateful to Justin, in 2017 he made a commitment to Rufus and without that, Rufus may not have had such a loving home and family these past years. Over the years Justin has fostered many quirky Berners for us, each with their own special story. All Berners who received a second chance because of Justin’s dedication and giant heart. Rufus you will be missed dearly. Run free!!
